Marr dropped Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr last year which showcased material from his four solo albums. He also released a book titled Marr’s Guitars documenting the instruments that he has played over the years making music milestones with the Smiths, Electronic, Modest Mouse, the Pretenders and more.
James released its 18th album Yummy in April and it became the band’s first studio album to reach No. 1 in the U.K. charts. The group is known for its powerful live performances spurred-on by vocalist Tim Booth.

Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO! are turning the traditional J-pop female group model on its head with its mixmaster electronically-driven sound.
The band recently provided a reimagining of the classic Ghostbusters theme for Ghostbusters: Frozen Summer, which might be the highlight of the latest film in the franchise.
The group plays the PNE Forum on Sept. 26. Tickets go on sale on May 10, 10 a.m. at livenation.com.
